Paint Stand for Pinewood Derby Shells
Description
This simple painting stand may be useful for anyone who wants to print and then paint any of my Pinewood Derby car shells. It uses an angular shaped base and gravity to position the part vertically or at a 36 degree angle, to make it easier to get full coverage when painting. I haven't actually used the stand yet, but it appears to work reasonably well. I'll probably need to make adjustments based on what I learn while using it. I'm also open to suggestions from anyone who has more experience painting car models than I do.
