Koozie Cove

Koozie Cove

Description

Are your kitchen drawers always clogging up with those stupid can koozies? Are you lost in confusion because you like cold beverages, but the koozies are always taking up too much space in your kitchen drawers? The Koozie Cove is here to clean up your life and that messy drawer! Comfortably holds 5-7 koozies. Print the STL file twice, and use small rods of standard 1.75mm PLA to index and glue/hold in place. I recommend aligning the top and bottom shells opposite-- so that the large openings point in opposite directions. If you're ok with a little bit of sagging on the outer non-koozie surfaces, you should only need supports in one spot (see screenshots). However, for a perfect print you may actually need supports all the way around, because the shells have strongly rounded edges. You may need to tweak the line/wall/perimeter width to ensure at least one layer surrounds the indexing (female) holes. Make sure you check your GCODE visually for walls around these holes (see screenshots), because these walls are very thin. If your line width is too large, it may create gaps near the indexing holes.
