Anycubic Kobra Neo Lead Screw Stabilizer
Description
The use of a lead screw stabilizer is somewhat controversial because it can place stress on the z motion of the gantry if the parts are not aligned correctly. However, a lead screw stabilizer seems to be necessary if you want to implement a dual z-axis upgrade using a belt drive. Originally I went down the route of trying out a dual stepper to control both lead screws. But having to constantly re-align them was a headache. Having a belt drive the two is a great way to set it and forget it. This design allows the lead screw to be off by a little bit and then you can tighten it down. Make sure you bring the gantry to the top before you tighten it down. Also, this design clamps onto the 2040 aluminum extrusions without needing one across the top like the Creality Enders do. Required parts: 1. 16mm x 8mm bore ball bearings (qty 2) 2. M3 x 15mm screws (qty 4) 3. M3 nuts (qty 4) 4. M4 x 20mm screws (qty 4) 5. M4 nuts (qty 4) Currently "work in progress" and will be removed once it's mounted!
