Picture Frame REMIX

Picture Frame REMIX

Description

I needed a frame for an odd 15" x 17" piece of glass, so I remixed [this original model](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2693157). Here's a list of some of the modifications made: * Cleaned up excess vertices * Created 7 mm inset for glass (assumed 2 mm) and backing * Split into corners and edge pieces for variable-size framing (short edge pieces = 160 mm, long edge pieces = 186 mm) The different pieces are to be joined by 1 cm indexing rods clipped from standard 1.75 mm (PLA) printer filament. In my GCODE files, you can see Cura's "fuzzy skin," which is a *miracle worker* for hiding layer lines. I kinda wanted my print to look something like wood. I also knew I'd need to do some manual sanding and glueing work at the end, so the fuzzy layers would make this more forgiving. With my settings, only 2-3 of the overhang lines sagged away from the print. These were inconsequential to clip off and move on. Once again, the fuzzy perimeter makes this unnoticeable. Could probably solve the problem altogether using a wider nozzle and/or line width. For my uses, I needed 4 corners and 4 of each of the long and short pieces. When combined with the corner pieces, this gives me an inner dimension of 15" x 17" (with just a few millimeters' wiggle room for the glass). **NOTE THAT THE "SHORT" AND "LONG" EDGES ARE NOT IDENTICAL! The shorter edge pieces have 1 end cutting one of the beading spheres in half. (This was the way to meet my needs with the fewest modifications.)**
