HTC Lighthouse dewobbling table for tripods
Description
Noticed that I was getting sway in VR games for a bit after I stopped moving. My lighthouses are on tripods and they would sway with even moderate movement. Made these little tables that sit on top pinned against the ceiling as a brace, sway is completely gone now! Cut this out of 2.5" corrugated cardboard from the recycling bin. Seems to be the right thickness to give and collapse a bit, but keep its shape and hold firm. Change the height on the slots to match your material size. It will work with just the tabs, but if you have to move your lighthouses occasionally a dab of elmers glue or wood glue really solidifies them!
