RTX 3060 ITX Founders Edition fan shroud
Description
This is a modification of an Nvidia 30-series ITX gpu. It is tested and working albeit with a small temperature penalty of a few °c compared to the stock fan shroud, but runs quieter thanks to the Noctua fan. This is more meant as a style change, than purely a fan upgrade (as is often done to itx cards). The Gainward Pegasus RTX 3060 was used for this project, this (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BQ75NGLH?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_RPE5GWGP8H946F5HB6KJ) should be the same heatsink. I also used a 4pin fan adapter (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BQ75NGLH?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_RPE5GWGP8H946F5HB6KJ) and a Noctua NF-A9x14. The original shroud had 4 screws, 3 are easily accessible and one very hard to remove without also taking off the heatsink. Which is why this model only uses the 3 accessible screws for easy assembly and dissassembly. The fan is cut down to only the core, as having the whole structure is not possible with this project. But keep the frame! Here is a way to rebuild the fan if needed. The 4pin adapter needs to be flexible, if it has a sleeve it may need to be removed. ________ I only printed in PLA, but it should be printed with a high temperature tolerant filament (I got recomended ASA or PETG). Frame is printed in silver, Finstack and Fan_mount in black.
