Chromatic tabor pipe in C (C5)
Description
I was fascinated by pfh's excellent tabor pipes which are playable with one hand but still have an octave and a half of diatonic range: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:260630 Several augmentations were of interest to me: 1. Lowering pitch. Since these are overtone flutes, they are quite large for the pitch they produce. 2. Chromatic capability. While some players can half-hole or cover the pipe end with their pinky to achieve accidentals, I was interested in options that might make chromatic play more practical. 3. Reducing print time. 3D printers are overkill for printing large, simple shapes. This dual finger hole adapter allows each of the three piping fingers to cover/vent two holes routed to different locations on the length of the pipe. This pipe requires: 24" of 1/2" PVC pipe 3x prints of this dual hole adapter 1x print of the soprano recorder mouthpiece found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5777473
