the boredom bubbler project.
Description
in between jobs mental exercise project. Haven't built it yet so untested. The only parts that aren't 3d printed are the "chamber" and "down stem". links for both acrylic tubes below. source your own slider, 4 perforated wafers for diffusion. air enters the inner down-stem from the top and travels downward before entering the inner up-stem from the bottom and traveling up to the mouthpiece giving a long travel distance and more time for the air to cool. its 14mm compatible. anything labeled gasket or seal is made from tpu. The rest for me would be either petg or asa. although any mildly inert and heat resistant filament should work. Use at your own risk. assembly: place both a chamber gasket and down-stem gasket in the base followed by the chamber and down-stem. assemble the top portion: slide the inner up-stem into the top-plate followed by the inner down-stem over top. then follow this with the sliding a wafer seal over each of the wafers.slide each wafer over the inner down-stem(spacing is 25mm but that can be personalized. once the inner workings of the chamber have been assembled take the chamber and down-stem "pipes" and place them in the base (remember gaskets) then install the gaskets for the "pipes" in top plate. slide the top assembly in the chamber(may need to wet the chamber) once put top and bottom plates are together with all the inner workings screw in all 4 bolts into the base followed by putting on and tightening the "nuts" over the top plate. friction fit the mouthpiece into the top. add water add slider. enjoy!! (all parts are interference fit and may need some custom fitment or adhesive efforts to complete) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B9FNQSJT/ref=ox_sc_act_image_1?smid=A1NR50YASSZD11&th=1 . https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B9FZWLB4/ref=ox_sc_act_image_2?smid=A1NR50YASSZD11&th=1
