Y-Axis Upgrade for LaserCut (TechZone) Mendel.
Description
Used to replace the "Popscicle stick and glue" bearing assembly on a TechZone Mendel with LM8UU bearings. I ran into a problem with my TechZone Mendel, which looked a lot like backlash on the X-Axis. After rebuilding, tightening, tweaking and replacing the pulleys on the X-Axis, the "backlash" was still there. So, I started looking at the Y-Axis, and found that I could easily push the build platform from side to side - the assembly that connects the frog plate to the bed was simply too flexible. I decided that switching to LM8UU bearings would make the upgrade easier.
