Disassemblable Poker Chip Tray/Rack
Description
About the Design ================= My 3D printable chip rack for blackjack games with friends. 6 Columns with each holding about 25 chips, depending on slight thickness differences between brands. Assembly is straightforward and requires no tools. The instructions are provided below, under "Assembly Instructions" Note that in the picture with the chips, there are 9 columns of chips in a 6+3 columns setup. The print bed size limits how long the ribs and end stops can be, thus I settled on 6. -------- ####Things to Print: For the shown 6 Column design: 6C_Legs ------- 12 6C_Ribs --------- 2 6C_EndStop --- 2 Note: 6C_Legs are symmetrical, so they act as both left and right sides of each column, but if not careful, it is possible to incorrectly install them flipped. ------------- Notes on Construction ============ Any material with any infill should be fine, I used PLA at 10% infill. I suspect that higher infill will lead to stiffer parts which make slightly difficult assembly but stay assembled better. If you do not plan on disassembling the tray, a small amount of adhesive/glue is recommended to keep them from falling apart. ------------------- ####Assembly Instructions You can assemble it in any order, but here is how I found it easiest: 1. Slot all 'legs' onto one of the 'ribs'. The 'legs' have angled edges, so insure they are inserted so the bottom face is flush. 2. Attach the 'endstop', slotting in one leg at a time. The legs should flex enough to slot them in, but be careful to not snap any legs. Repeat for the other 'endstop'. ----------------
