Leo the truck - Scoop the excavator (Scoop der Bagger, Экскаватор Капу)
Description
Model of the Scoop the excavator from the cartoon “Leo the Truck”. For assembly you will need:
6 M3*10 screws .

3 M3*16 screw .

1 M3*25 screws .

10 insert nuts M3 (OD 4.5 mm, length 4-6 mm) .
You can use both DIN912 hexagon socket screws and regular pan head screws, which are available in your local store.
Print Settings
The parts of the model are printed at a layer thickness of 0.2 mm, but I would advise for parts of the windshield, rims, bearings, eyes, nose and bushings to set a lower thickness value of 0.10-0.15 mm, this will make them more neat and durable. Number of perimeters 3, line width 0.5 mm, infilling 10-20 %. The wheels are available in two versions, for printing with elastomers (TPU) or solid plastics (PLA, PETG). For better print quality of tires, you need to enable the function "Avoid crossing perimeters" function in PrusaSlicer or "Combing" in Cura. To print wheel bearings, it is necessary to reduce the flow to 95%, set the layer thickness to 0.15 mm, and randomly place the seam. The printed bearings should be rotated and lubricated with WD40, they should work without jamming. If they still jam, then reprint with a flow of 90%. Bearing material PLA or PETG. ABS is better not to use, it has very low wear resistance. For tires, the softer the TPU, the better. The head, windshield, bucket and rims are printed with supports. For the head, supports are needed for the eyebrows and the hexagon at the bottom. Assembly is carried out according to the scheme. 2 M3\*16 screws fasten the parts of the arm and bucket, 1 M3\*25 screw fastens the arm to the body. Another M3\*16 connects the base to the head.
See also Leo the Truck model.
