TTm 1000mm narrow gauge boxcar 99-02-01/02 (Resin 1/120 scale)

Description

When creating the fire [fighter equipment boxcar 99-01-80](TTm fire fighter 1000mm narrow gauge boxcar 99-01-80 (Resin redesign 1/120 scale)) the decision was made to provide the former version too. [A H0m version will be available here](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6212535). ###History The historical car was built in 1899. The source [1, p. 200] mentioned 2 similar vehicles. The source [2, p. 144] mentioned NWE numbers from 311 to 314, a count of 4 cars. Wagon NWE 312 was numbered 99-02-02 in 1957 and repurposed in 1965 as equipment wagon for the fire fighters and got the new number 99-01-80. The boxcar 311 became 99-02-01 and was used from 1965 until 1981 at the iron plant Mägdesprung [2, p. 148]. ###Printing and Post printing (same procedure as usual ..) I also added a version with open doors. These files should be printed in resin. I strongly recommend ABS like resin. I print the boxes flipped over (135 degrees). Guitar strings were used for the handles, bent and glued in place. I create break handles from brass wire and sheets. I use 5.6mm N gauge wheel sets and insert them after a dark primary paint layer, before spending to much time in painting. Even ABS like resin breaks. You can widen the cones with a drill (opening angle 60-70°) The couplings are added with M2.5 screws, after finishing I will add my matching couplings, as long you can take one from the last cars like 99-01-85. ###Origin and licensing The design is based on [3] p. 34 and pictures made + found by Julius. I don't want any commercial use of this design and prints. You are free to print my work for your projects, close friends and maybe your model railway club. Please post your makes. If you are representing a model or railway club, a school or something comparable with these and want to use it for educational purposes in higher numbers, please tell me.
