iPhone 8 mount for bike, easy to print
Description
This simple 2 piece phone holder attaches to your bike and requires. one part attaches to your bike, and the other is a partial phone case that attaches to the bike mount. this makes it to were you can easily take your phone off/on your bike. I usually use it to look at directions on my phone while riding my bike. i have tested the mount on many different trials, and it holds up to (so far) all terrains, from big hills to bumpy paths. The phone holder is for a standard iPhone 8 (not the iPhone 8 plus), but feel free to remix!. for the bike mount simply thread zip-ties through the holes in the model and zip the around the front of your bike, you can use the picture for a reference. The diameter of the part that touches the bike is one size fits all. now, it was fitted for by bike, but the diameter of the bike cylinders are pretty standard. also its fine its its not exact to the model. I also recommend putting a thin layer of hot glue onto the part of the bike mount that touches the phone, this gives it a better grip. if you see the model elsewhere I have also posted it under the name on @EvanChancell_1245857 on printables. this design dose use the zip-tie holes from "Snap Lock iPhone 6 Bike Mount" and the iPhone 8 case(without bracket on the back) from "Iphone 8 Case for TPU" recommended instructions for bike mount: raft: no supports: no, unless your printer cant bridge very well. layer height: 0.2 infill: at least 15% filament: PLA, but any filament works as long as its not flexible or weak. recommended instructions for phone holder raft: yes supports: yes layer height: 0.2 infill at least 15% filament: PLA, but any filament works as long as its not flexible or weak.
