Ender 3 S1 Sprite Part Cooling NO SUPPORTS

Ender 3 S1 Sprite Part Cooling NO SUPPORTS

Description

The Ender 3 S1 Pro definitely needs more part cooling, especially if you want to print at higher speeds. I searched to see if anyone has already solved this problem. Thanks to all of the work from Stuart800 and Merkaba to get me started. Let me start by saying that I absolutely *HATE* supports. One of my design criteria is to make the model print without supports. Using Stuart800's and Merkaba's ideas, I started a new model from scratch. I was able to generate this model that printed much faster and without supports. It also attaches to the extruder stepper motor on both sides, instead of just one side. Therefore, it is more stable and doesn't move when printing at high speeds. I typically print all of my tool parts at 0.28 mm layer height with 20% infill. I optimized this model to be printed with 0.4 mm nozzle width. Parts list: * M4 x 20mm bolt (2 ea) * M3 x 12mm bolt (2 ea) * M3 x 5mm bolt (2 ea) * M4 nut (2 ea)* M4 x 4mm insert nut (2 ea) * M3 x 4 mm insert nut (2 ea) * 5015 dual ball bearing 24V blower fan I love to make projects that use insert nuts (https://www.amazon.com/uxcell-Knurled-Threaded-Insert-Embedment/dp/B07LBGQ2PV) instead of regular nuts. These are brass nuts that you melt into your part using a soldering iron. You can use regular nuts instead of insert nuts on this model if you want, but your bolts may need to be a little bit longer. This is the blower fan that I use: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08R9G2VDR
