Thrustmaster T150 Magnetic Paddle Shifter Mod
Description
This is a magnetic paddle shifter mod for Thrustmaster T150/TMX. I made two versions, one for 8x4mm and one for 10x3mm neodymium magnets. To stick them on, I used some double-sided 3M tape. I recommend sticking a piece of TESA tape on the magnets. Doing so will quieten the noise from paddle hitting the magnets when returning. *You don't have to dismount the wheel for the installation*, I just took it off to show the mod better, although it makes the installation a whole lot easier. Installation: - press in the magnets (It's recommended to glue them in with a CA glue additionally) - smooth out the bottom area with sandpaper and degrease it (Important) - stick on the double-sided tape (You can probably use CA glue, but then it will become a permanent solution) - degrease the contact area in front of the paddle - attach the holder to the paddle (On magnets side) - align the holder, push it down, and firmly press it - done! This mod really improves the feel of the paddles. They become more tactile. If you need other versions for different-sized magnets, please write them in the comments!
