Foldable 20x20 Aluminum Profile Connector
Description
This simple connector can join two 20 x 20 mm aluminum (or other) pipe ends together, either simple square pipes or I-type extrusions. It allows for 180° rotation and has a spring tensioned button for locking them in the straight position, a model without the lock is also provided. Components needed: M6 x 30 mm socket head screw and nylon locking nut, 6 x 15 mm compression spring, 3 x 30 mm roll pin, as well as 2 pcs of M4 screws (or other) to thread into the side of the aluminum tube ends. Source code (.stp & .3dm) is also provided, should you want to modify the design for your own purpose. Please share your prints!
