Description

Designed For Instructables 3-D Printing Contest, Discussing Ways To Improve Our 3D Prints. The Front And Top Stl File Is The Lid Which Is In 2 Parts And Hinged. I Use Large Paperclips To Make The Hinge. Its A Tight Fit And The Space Between The Hinge Pins, As Well As The Through Holes For The Hinge Pin, Require Careful Cleanup, If The Pin Holes Are Too Tight, Heat Up A Bent Paperclip With A Cigarette Lighter To Help Clean The Holes. Note The Top Lid Is Printed Upside Down To Make A Cleaner Wave Decoration. The Box Stl File Is The Main Box. It Includes A Novel, Original, All-In-One Hinge Joint Which Rotates And Makes The Latch. The Latch Goes Through The Wall And Can'T Be Pushed Or Pulled Through The Wall Without Destroying The Box. Support Is Only On Either Side Of The Wall. Careful Cleanup Is Needed To Work This Free So It Rotates Freely. This Joint Makes The Box Too Complex To Be Sliced With Slic3R, I Used Cura With Good Results.
