Raspberry Pi 5 Case
Description
Raspberry Pi 5 case, with compatibility for both Raspberry Pi models 4B and 5 Designed using official Raspberry Pi 5 physical specification. Differences between the Raspberry Pi model 4B and 5 that affect the case design include: - No external audio port on RP5 - LED and power button added to RP5 - USB and ethernet ports relocated on RP5 - Two camera cable connectors on RP5 - Increased power consumption by RP5 requires better airflow Additional design features: - Slot for jumper wires to connect to bus with opening on the side so that jumpers will not pull out when cover is secured - Cooling vents on top and bottom - Ability to add personalized text on case by modifying SCAD file - Uses four M3 (12mm or longer) screws for cover attachment - The wider openings for connectors also enable increased airflow This has not yet been tested with an actual RP5. May update when an RP5 is available for testing, hopefully in 2023. Print recommendations: - Slice cover without supports - Slice case with supports - Use PLA, PLA+ or ABS - Use 0.2mm line quality - Use 20% or higher infill
