Simmons Titan 70 - Rack, Right Arm Pass-Thru Clamp Replacement

Simmons Titan 70 - Rack, Right Arm Pass-Thru Clamp Replacement

Description

Can you guess the first thing I broke on this kit? Posting this model is not a comment about Simmons/GC or their customer service. My clamp snapped at 2200 on a Sunday, and this was a chance for my printer to make parts for a machine other than itself. If anyone else needs an emergency band-aid solution to the same problem I ran into, here you go. Works for me as-is. I just sketched this together as a quick 15 minute fix, I'll do a v2 soon and that will be the final update. The things I'm going to fix are the through-holes being a bit snug, the countersinks being a bit shallow, and the thing generally being ugly. .STEP is included in case you don't want to wait a day or two for me to update. -Pre-oriented for printing -0.5mm chamfer where edges meet the build plate to help with elephant's foot. -There's a 1.0mm fillet inside of the countersinks, no need to generate supports. .STEP is included in case you don't want to wait a day or two for me to update. Cheers!
