Snapmaker 2.0 A350 Adjustable Linear Rail Glass Plate Mount
Description
Updated glass plate mount that allows for attachment of linear rails and adjustment of side wings via screws. Print a total of 2 normal and 2 mirrored Body_v_shim.stl and 8 Wing_v_shim.stl, a couple nut pushers, and 4 of each linear rail rest files. Uses these screws (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BLNMLHYG) and these nuts (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009EFQIHG). The nuts are a really tight fit and need to go in a certain orientation, so I made a helper that you can print to fit it in well. Place the nuts, place the helper on top of the nuts, then push it in with a clamp. Since every machine is different and every corner of the bed may need adjusting to get it as level as possible, this is designed to be shimmed between the linear rail metal piece and the plate mount. I used these washers (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B015A39UDY/) and these thinner shims (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B091YBHD43) to accomplish this. I used around 2mm of shims under each mount. I leveled it to the snapmaker bottom plate by turning an adjustable level to even and then shimming until it matched. This also includes what I use to hold the linear rails against the enclosure.
