Buttons replacement for Smart (Roadster)
Description
Old buttons destroyed after 20 years. I don`t even know OEM part number or how to find it so simply designed and (not) simply printed. Thing separated in 4 parts. It could be printed in 1, but TPU supports are not detachable and TPU generated a lot of strings. Bottom part of thing not visible and just needed to be functionable. So then we have to print 1x main-part, 1x middle-pin, 2x pins and 3x crosses. Possible solution to use normal TPU (more or equal to 90A), but preferable to use 85A. When using normal TPU detail becomes nisely looking and solid, but hard to press. Usage of 85A requires normal extruder (it`s too soft for Sprite-Extruder, needed to modify second gear to print normally). Crosses printed with PLA. Assembly with super-glue, but be careful, as TPU glues quickly. Small issues of print like fail on the bottom or skirt of button not filled properly - are not important. Bottom of part - you`ll never see. Skirt will be glued when you`ll glue the pin. On the photos are first version printed with normal TPU (in focus) and spare buttons (not in focus)
