Heusinkveld Sprint - VRS Spring Mod
Description
Simple mod to adapt VRS Spring to the Heusinkveld Sprint Pedals. After trying the VRS feeling I was immediately hooked. No way I would ditch my perfectly working Sprint pedals tho. I've designed two simple bushings to align the spring to the original rod. There are no modifications required, just remove all the elastomers, spacers and the small "brake pad distance" spring and install the new pieces. Some will love it, some will hate it. The brake feeling is now more linear and I find it way easier to threshold and trailbrake into the corners. It's probably less real this way, but laptimes are more important than simulation! I've got the red spring from a friend, but you can buy it from here: https://simraceshop.de/Pressure-spring-25x76mm-Sim-pedals.html Any color should work, the dimensions are the same, with my red spring I have more or less matched the 45kg force I've been using with a medium elastomer from Heusinkveld.
