EDC Mini Chess Set

EDC Mini Chess Set

Description

A Chess Set so small it will fit with all 32 chess pieces and it's playing field into a Multivitamin Pillroll (Dia: 2,5cm, Height: 14,5cm; the chess pieces actually only take half the height) The playing field can simply be made from a piece of letter paper. First remove the excess length to make it square. Fold it three times in the middle at both axis to create the lines of the playing field. No pen is needed although it is certainly useful for marking the board in two colours and to draw a nine-man morris/(the) mill (game)/cowboy checkers playing field on the back. The paper can be folded and or rolled to fit in the pillbox next to the game pieces. Obviously the game pieces can also be used for other games such as Checkers/Draughts or nine-man morris/(the) mill (game)/cowboy checkers if you turn them over, but of course it is necessary then to print the bases of the pieces in two different colours. Print: 2x “All-Pieces” or each one seperate if you have adhesion problems. 4x “8xBase” (2x 8 for each player) You may wanna print the bases in two different colours if you intend to play the other possible games with the figures flipped over. You could print the figures in the same colour for each player when the bases have different colours. If you print only black and white bases and figures like i did you may need to clarify upfront which colour is actually the one that counts; the figure or the base. Any Filament will do. Best to use remainings. Full Set of Figures for one player only 2.3g. The bases are only 8.0g for all figures for one player. So less then 21g total for both players! Designed to be printed at a layer height of 0.28 but 0.2 will do fine. Each figure has two alignment pegs that should fit nicely into the base. A drop of superglue from the bottom may be required. All parts are designed and already alligned in a way that after putting the pieces together the “nice” bed surface (PEI or PEO sheet) is facing upwards towards you.
