Quest 3 adapter for quest 2 halo strap
Description
This kit converts the [generic quest 2 halo strap](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08LGSFQYR) into one that will fit onto a quest 3 and optionally hold a battery bank on the back. For the battery mount, you will need [.5" wide velcro strips](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071Y3TVNT) to mount it. For the quest 3 conversion, no extra screws or hardware are required. Just use the existing screws which come with the halo strap. Some support material will be required for all prints. <h2>Instructions</h2> For the quest 3 conversion, simply remove the screws that hold the quest 2 arm clips onto the halo strap, carefully pry out the friction fit pieces that grip onto the quest 2 arms. Replace the clips with the 3D printed ones and reassemble using the original screws and back plate pieces. Make sure you get the right and left clips on the correct side as it's neccessary for proper alignment. For the battery mount, cut two .5" wide velcro strips to the appropriate length to attach the mount piece to the existing velcro under the rear cushion. Use additional velcro strips to hold the battery in place. You can use up to 4 strips for the battery, but you probably won't need all of them. Step files are included if anyone wants to make alterations/improvements.
