Arduino Uno R3 Desktop Holder

Arduino Uno R3 Desktop Holder

Description

This is a redesigned Arduino Uno R3 desktop holder, based on a model found on a different website: https://www.printables.com/model/157796-arduino-uno-holdercase from user @woodle_178890. (Thank you) I made some enhancements to their model: - Increased the thickness of the columns that the Arduino board sits on. This allows for M2.5x3 threaded brass knurled nuts to be melted into the holes allowing for a professional metal-on-metal contact when your parts come together (Use a soldering iron - 200°C to 220°C (392°F to 428°F)) Reinforced the side walls and gave them an angular design for a more tactile and modern feel. - Included finger holes around the base for better control while working on your projects. - Added holes on the bottom for inserting "adhesive rubber dots", which minimize both movement and rocking back/fourth when the holder is being used. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ If you prefer a heavier stand that's less likely to slide across your desktop as you work, you can print the model with a higher infill percentage, such as 100%. If weight isn't a concern, use your normal infill percentage. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The 4 threaded brass knurled nut inserts I used were sized M2.5x3. Link: https://www.amazon.com/ROCHU-Self-Adhesive-Rubber-Bumpons-Furniture/dp/B073SVKFYJ/ref=sr_1_6?crid=IB6MB5ZZM735&keywords=rubber%2Bfeet%2Bdots&qid=1697594062&sprefix=rubber%2Bfeet%2Bdots%2Caps%2C113&sr=8-6&th=1 The adhesive rubber dots have a height of 3.4mm, so I designed their holes to be 3.2mm deep, providing minimal clearance between the bottom of the stand and the desktop. This design choice helps the rubber feet grip better and eliminates any wobbling when using your device in the stand. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The model is already 100% scaled. You should be able to print it just as it is. Note: I used supports for filling in the adhesive rubber feet holes, nowhere else on the model. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Enjoy using this holder for your Arduino Uno R3!
