Cisco 2960X dual 40mm fan bracket
Description
This is a bracket to replace the standard blower fan in a Cisco 2960X with dual 40MM 20MM thick fans. I replaced mine with two Noctua fans to make the switch almost quite. I used the included Y adapter, and repinned that, to connect them to the internal fan header, so the switch doenst throw any alarms. As this fits the spot of the original blower, this mod is completely reversable. Though this does make the switch almost silent, it also does increase temperatures. I recommend filing out the fan screw holes a tiny bit. The two parts should be glued together, but as there is no more headroom in the switch, reinstalling the cover might just push them together enough that you dont have to glue them. Printed this on my modified Sidewinder X1 with a 0.8mm nozzle and 0.4mm layerheight in ABS. I dont thing this part will get warm enough to reach the glass-temperature of any filament, so what you print it in should not matter.
