Electric Extension Cord Pass Through Gate
Description
I designed this to make it easy to feed an electric extension cord through a piece of plywood, allowing me to power my basement sump pump from my portable electric generator. The design allows me to close the access hole until needed, then slip open the gate, feed the extension cord through, and slide the gate down to seal around the cord itself. I have a piece of plywood blocking one of my basement windows - the clothes dryer vent currently runs through this board. I will drill another hole in the plywood and install my pass through gate for future use.
