Please note that the design is not final yet, but in absence of any top-side Quest 3 controller mounts available decided to upload a first prototype early. ## Important Please note that the controller mounts have slightly larger pip exerts than the original Sanlaki design. The controller mounts have been designed for my Sanlaki remix [Magnetic Gunstock (Modified & Optimized)], which uses slightly larger pipes. I will upload updated models when the controller mount design is final. *** ### Description Being not patient enough waiting for Quest 3 Sanlaki gunstock controller mounts to be released, I decided to design the mounts myself. The mounts have been created using the model [Quest 3 right controller] from [paul_delta], providing a perfect fit. There is no screwing required or whatsoever, one model per controller mount. I also did create a remix-ready version of the [Quest 3 Controller Mounts], w/o any additional parts, just the mounts. Feel free to use for your remix. *** ### Assembly Use one-side adhesive and very thin rubber pads or tape (1,5mm thickness) for optimal stability, as shown in the pictures. With two of these pads the controller fits super-tight. *** ### Print settings 0.4mm nozzle and 0.2mm resolution works. Anyhow I would recommend 0.15mm resolution for best results. I did use 20% gyroid infill and did print with Tough PLA. No problems, very stable. All models should be printed with supports, due to the complex geometry with overhangs. I would recommend a brim for better adhesion of first layer.
