Replacement Casing for Kindle Paperwhite 2nd Generation

Replacement Casing for Kindle Paperwhite 2nd Generation

Description

After some Years of using and replacing the battery, my Kindle Paperwhite 2nd generation still works fine. But its casing got very sticky by the dissolving soft coating. So I made a new casing. You disassemble the Paperwhite by peeling off the front (it's glued to the screen). Under it you find eleven screws, that hold the screen in the casing. After unscrewing you have to recover the tiny nuts from their sockets in the casing to insert them in the screwholes of the newly printet casing. I heated up the old casing to loosen the nuts from their sockets.Use a small plier or similar. I used PLA. Tree-support for the holes in the Frame. Button didn't need support. Designed with FreeCAD.
