Elegoo Phecda Air Assist Nozzle

Elegoo Phecda Air Assist Nozzle

Description

DIY Elegoo Phecda Air Assist Nozzle I wanted an air assist for my Phecda laser engraver but they were sold out, so I decided to make my own. It is scaled to be a tight fit over the window mirror, but also has a spot for a set/tension screw for a more snug fit. (If you're having a hard time removing it, twist it clockwise. Twisting counter-clockwise will just remove the window mirror.) Printed pointing up with supports touching the build plate only. Make sure to remove all supports and any stray filament inside/around the tip so the laser doesn't hit anything. The tube connector fits 3/16" tubing (fish tank bubbler tube, like this: https://a.co/d/eespnOr), you may or may not need an adapter if your pump doesn't have an outlet in this size. I'd recommend using zip ties to attach the tube to your laser head cables so it stays out of the way. As for the pump, you can find several options online, but most of what I've seen uses a 30L/MIN (475/GPH) pump. I'm just using an airbrush air compressor for now and it works just fine. (This is one of the options I found: https://a.co/d/3iaKnsP) As always be careful when putting anything in between a laser and the project, if you notice any burning or melting on the tip of the nozzle remove it immediately! This nozzle should have plenty of clearance, but it's best to keep an eye on it just in case. Thanks to webghost for their design as I used it as a base and modified it for the Phecda!
