Description

This is a set of STL files to print yourself a light weight and simple fairing set out of TPU for your Begode Ex30. The fairing set covers each of the battery box corners on the Ex30 and allows for you to slip in a sheet of plastic to mount your pads with velcro. You will need to purchase 16 aluminum spacers from your local hardware store. These spacers prevent the fairing set from being squished when you tighten down the screws. 14 are 5/16" O.D. x 1/4" tall with an I.D. of 3/16" 2 are 1/4" O.D. x 1/4" tall with an I.D. of 5/32" you will also need to purchase some additional stainless hardwareto accommodate the fairing kit: 8 x M6x?? hex cap head screws for the 4 battery covers (will update ASAP) 8 x m6 washers 2 x M4x20 hex cap head screws for attaching fairings to light 2 x m4 washers Otherwise, the install is pretty straight forward. Press fit the spacers into the holes on the fairing kit and install into position on your Begode Ex30 to help prevent fall and crash damage and hold your plastic plate for your velcro and pads! I designed it to work with .1" plastic sheet, also from the hardware store. Cut two sheets to the size of your battery boxes, add some double sided tape and slip under the fairing corners. Now add your velcro and pads! This is a huge print. Take your time. Print settings will vary depending on your needs. I'd suggest 20-25% gyroid infill for the front and rear fairing. You can do the kickstand puck at 100% infill to make it solid. Lower battery covers will be good anywhere from 25% gyroid infill to 100% infill. I print all this on a Bambu Lab P1S at above normal speeds. Otherwise it would take way too long. I use sainsmart filament and print at 220* after I bake it for 2 hours to reduce stringing. Retraction is set to 1.5mm. Don't forget to assemble with loctite. Enjoy! -Casey
