bobovr m2 adapter for quest 3
Description
I tried a couple models I saw on thingiverse and none of them worked. I decided to make my own with a mount similar to what the m3 has. The model is not great, and could for sure be improved, but I've tried it with and without the quest facial interface and I think it's good enough. To remove the official white protector of the m2, I used a screwdriver following a similar approach as in here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JnvJHQh--BE&t=15s I put too much pressure on the white piece and the screw holding it all together snapped and broke, which is fine since we don't need that part. I saw this after and it looks like a safer way to remove the white piece (video in files): https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6267437 I had to make the screw gap a bit larger after printing since otherwise it wouldn't fit. Used small 3mm drill to do so. The model isn't updated with a bigger gap, but maybe it's easier to modify it. Added the blender file in case anyone wants to modify/remix it.
