Vive Tracker Isolation Mount for 40 series Profile
Description
This is a vibration damping mount for a Vive Tracker to be used with motion compensation software. The issue it solves is damping out transients that can throw motion compensation software off flipping you sideways over a rumble strip for example, or throwing you off in a flight rig when firing a cannon or machine gun when you have a motion haptic effect or heavy transducer effects. It utilizes Drone anti-vibration shocks that can be found here. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WGPVZM6 There is room for a 1/4x20 by ½" long bolt to secure the Vive tracker. It uses two M8x16 bolts to secure it to a profile by T-nuts, or threaded holes in the end of the profile. I'm currently using this with the OpenXR-MotionCompensation here. https://github.com/BuzzteeBear/OpenXR-MotionCompensation I have to give credit to Bjorn who created the initial files I started from. His solution is not currently published.
