Fully 3D printed lantern with key switch V1
Description
This is a lantern that I fully designed my self from scratch and is designed to be able to be printed with no supports. It is fitted with a key switch and a toggle switch to turn it on, so no one else can use it unless they have the key or it is already activated. It is powered by 4 AA batteries. The light it self is a small LED E10 bulb that threads in so you can change it easily. It has a mirror that can be tilted to deflect the light where you want it. Everything is 3D printed on it apart from the electronics, the two 10x25mm metal pins, 100x100mm acrylic mirror and the M5 bolts and M5x10mm push fitted brass inserts. For the electronics it is just 4 AA batteries in a holder with a 9v battery connector that the positive is soldered to a terminal on the key switch, and then there is a wire from the other key terminal going to one side of the toggle switch. Then a wire from the switch to the positive of the bulb socket and then a negative wire going back to the negative of the battery. Here is the exact electronics.. 1) 4 AA battery holder with 9v battery connector 2) E10 bulb and socket 3) 19mm key switch 4) 12x15mm rocker switch Note to anyone who is going to print this.. The tolerances on the lantern are really tight as i made them have no tolerance by mistake, so some parts may need a bit of sanding to get them to fit. Especially the holes for the pins on the mirror holder. Hope you all like it.
