Tree of Life box - Nonagon
Description
This is remixed from moetij's beautiful tree of life: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3635993. Although it is inspired by https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4538845, it was made independently in Tinkercad. The box is nine-sided as a nod to Norse mythology, where nine is a frequently occurring number—but mostly because there are just not enough nonagonal things in the world. The box is taller than its octagonal cousin. If you print the lid upside down (as I have it in the STL), the surface has a nice texture or smoothness from the plate, and the tree has an interesting ribbed design from the bridging. No supports are necessary. The design would lend itself nicely to printing in multiple colors.
