Ender 3 V3 SE - Gantry Clip to 2020 T-Slot
Description
Design is meant to convert an Ender 3 V3 SE gantry into one with a more common standard (instead of it being FLAT like come on) so it can support more print designs as there are barely any designs for a flat piece of plastic. I used ctyler2621 Clip-on design as a base with some modification so it is a tighter fit. I shortened the top part of the clip and made the grip part of the clips a bit longer, for better and worse (makes it a bit annoying to get on and off of the gantry). I also made each section a bit thicker. My edit to the design doesn't come without a couple issues either. 1. The top part of the clip is easy to lose grip (won't fall off the gantry but does lift, example in the Post-Printing pictures). Could add two small hooks on the other side though to fix this. 2. Can't seem to get the 2020 T-Slots accuracy right could be my printers accuracy or just how tight of a fit they are designed to be. (The filament guide https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4231868 in the Post-Printing picture needed its t-slot sanded down to fit.) IMPORTANT NOTE: If you want the one from the thumbnail download the Ender-3_V3_to_2020_T-Slot.stl The other ones were NOT made with the 2020 Misumi T-Slot Rail from GeoffreyG. So they are super scuffed with the dimensions, might work better might be worse could depend on what you are trying to mount (will upload an image in the Post-Printing picture of the scuffed dimensions), the files with PROTOTYPE at the start will be the ones with these dimensions. Final Words: I probably won't be uploading new edits of this cause it works "enough" for me, and I am not great with Blender, more used to Inventor. Sure could try another program but I am tired and i got enough of a handle on Blender to design one or two things. Plus slack to try and design it better. Good luck, hopefully it will be useful or be improved on by someone.
