Listed as a remix, bit is more of an inspired by since the entire model was created from scratch. Always like to link back to where a good idea came from. Recommend printing with adaptive layers to get the finer thread to cooperate. Designed to be installed with just hand pressure, but has flats to use a crescent if it were to become stuck. Designed this to go from my bathroom sink to a hose attachment for filling and draining my fish tank Gravel Vacuum for Aquarium Water Changer. Original adapter was cross-threaded by an eager helper, and finding a replacement has been impossible. So 3d printing to the rescue. now if the fine threads get damaged, just print off another. If the original adapter linked does not do it, likely a 90% chance this one will for US at least. I know there are about 20 sizes for US and another half a dozen worldwide in metric, sizes I saw to date: Usually, the regular aerator is 15 /16” male and 55/64” female(this file) in size, and the junior aerator is 13/16” male and 3/4” female in size. Adaptive layers work well to get the fine thread without taking forever. My personal preference on those settings in Cura is: Adaptive layers maximum variation 0.07 Adaptive layers Variation Step Size 0.07 Adaptive layers Topography size 0.2 Feel free to adjust your settings then slice it. Check out the preview window and make sure you can live with the step on the threads. if not, adjust, and slice again to check out a new preview window. Keep an eye on the layer count to see if the changes you are trying are making a difference or not. Change the 0.04 to a 0.1 and you go from 167 layers to 234 layers. and take another 45 minutes, but have a better thread. Your call. 0.07 seems to be a good balance between the two.
