120mm Filtered Exhaust Fan

120mm Filtered Exhaust Fan

Description

As part of my lack enclosure I've designed some exhaust systems to lower temps within the enclosure. This system uses [these filters off amazon](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BJB8BV89/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1), unsure of their effectiveness but surely they must do something, right? This fits a standard 120mm PC fan, try to find one with high static pressure. I personally went with the ARCTIC BioniX P120 for its cheap cost and high static pressure. Included are the carbon casing files, these two slot together to form a round carbon casing for odor filtration. I've stopped using it due to airflow restriction and the bento box within the enclosure does a good enough job. Print the carbon casing with ~25% infill, zero top shells and zero bottom shells and glue together after printing. If using carbon be sure to use acid-free carbon ([I got mine from here](https://voxelpla.com/products/replacement-carbon?_pos=2&_sid=6eaafc1ee&_ss=r)). The shroud on the outer part of the fan isnt needed, I just like it to feel how much air is being pulled through the filter. Regardless, the model can be found [here](https://www.printables.com/model/268401-noctua-desk-fan). I have it scaled to fit 120mm and chopped the ends of the ducts off to make it slimmer.
