Brompton chain guard for 50T fixed crank
Description
This is a chainguard for older Brompton bikes, with fixed crank 50T chainring. It seems the original manufacturer part is no longer available. The previous model, with snap-in attachments, would unfortunately break instantly if printed in PLA or even PETG. The problem is solved for this version as it is attached to the chainring with 5 countersunk screws and specific washers. Therefore, any material should be fine for printing without being deformed, stressed, and broken. Recommended screws : 2.5mm or 3mm diameter, 10 to 12mm length, stainless steel preferably, as shown on picture. An option with special engraving for Tolkien geeks is proposed, which I haven't taken the time to print.
