Oculus Quest 3 VR Rifle Half-Stock V2
Description
This is the Q3V2 "Half Stock" my wife uses in "Population: One" and "Breachers". This setup works with the Quest-3, OR Quest-2 hand controllers with Silicon "No-Slip Covers" on them. We just leave our Stocks on our right Hand Controllers, since the stocks are so light-weight they don't get in the way of grabbing loot or climbing/throwing (I use the full length Q3V2 Stock found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6303717) The stocks are designed to align the Gaming Sights and your Natural Point Of Aim. You can "test out" the Half Stock before buying 6 Inches of 8mm O.D. Pipe by printing the included 3D-Printed "Pipe" (with bolt holes for two M3 Bolts/Nuts/Washers) at 20% Infill. Printed with PLA+ Filament the 3D Printed Pipe will actually work fine, it's just heavier than 8mm O.D. (5mm I.D.) Aluminum Pipe. There is a small "Hand Controller Lock" included that replaces the wrist strap stud in the battery compartment... The new Locking Stud allows you to lock the hand controller into the Stock-Cup with a small Zip-Tie. I included one file with all of the parts laid out for printing, as well as each of the parts in separate files. Sorry the stocks look so "used" in the images, but they ARE used for several hours every night. Since it's REALLY hard to play against a good player that is using a stock without having one yourself, I make the stocks available for everyone. There are now A *LOT* of our VR Stocks in use by 3D Gamers, so I put the newest designs here on Thingiverse so other players can print them themselves without one of us having to send them stl files.
