RUN Game Box Insert
Description
This is a game box insert for the board game RUN from Fowers Games. It includes two nesting boxes to hold the small bits. The game box for RUN from Fowers Games, which is elegant and compact, has several small parts which I thought could use a storage system to hold everything. This is my first attempt at something like this, so it's pretty simple, and hopefully the pictures demonstrate how I envisioned the parts would be stored. The player screens and map boards go in first, then the cardboard tube with the “runner” and “dispatch” player aids (which hold the plastic runner tiles inside) and the outer game box insert share the next layer. The clear marker cubes and the cardboard dispatch tiles fit here, with the cards nestled on top of the tiles. Then the sub-box slots in on top of the cubes, with dedicated areas for the surveillance vans, meeples and other small bits as depicted in the photos. Resting the game manual on top seems to do a pretty good job holding the pieces in during the dreaded “shake test." I'm sure there's room for improvement, but so far it's working. I hope someone else can get some use (or a decent remix!) out of this.
