Description
This is the first time I've used any sort of CAD program, and I used Tinkercad. Wanted to make the original design wrap around my monitor stand (diameter: 35.2mm). It's not particularly refined, but it works well. Ensured there was some degree of bevelling on the additions I made so that they match the original - looks better in print than in CAD. Will definitely be updating the design in time. Would like to adjust the final angle of the wraparound portion so that it hugs the monitor stand ore tightly when removing devices from the stand. It doesn't come off or anything with the current design, but it does shift, which is less than ideal. Also, in a future print, I might change the orientation and not use supports for each of the USB slots. I was able to get all the supports out in the end, but it took a lot of finagling, and they came out in a billion tiny pieces. Anyway, like I said, this is my first design, and the important parts aren't even mine. Excited to continue learning and improving until I am confident to really design my own thing from the ground up.
