Description
Tronxy X5SA complete Direct-Drive upgrade kit. Part personally designed, went to many iterations until the final design. Parts mounted and tested, they all work as intended. Kit includes, but not limited to: - Custom magnetic mount extruder fan mount kit that houses a 4010 axial fan mount and 2x4020 turbine part cooling fans - A buck converter housing (double-side tape mount) for 12V reduction for quieter operation of the fans (optional) - Titan extruder direct-drive mod (stepper motor adapter, a 4010 axial fan flexible mount for stepper motor cooling, flexible adapter for run-out sensor) - Sturdy, easy-detach spool holder with an optional second roll holder that is mounted on the aluminium profile - A brass brush holder for nozzle wiping sequence Things to keep in mind!: - The hot-end fan mount cover-kit uses 4 neodymium magnets for easy mounting and easier maintenance (similar to bambulab printers hot-end covers). Brackets will be screwed on the hot-end carriage plate and the magnets get hot-glued both on the brackets and on the hot-end cover. - The hot-end cover is designed with a fixed mound for a capacitive sensor! - This kit has been designed with the concept of using as little custom after-market parts as possible. Besides the titan-extruder, 2x8mm belt crowned idlers for Z-axis locking and a capacitive sensor for bed probing, everything is stock. - For the Direct-drive upgrade, the metal bracket of the print-head has to be bent at a 90 deg. angle so that the adapter could be mounted. - My build includes many other upgrade parts like feet dampeners, belt idlers guards, different fan guards for PSU and other cooling fans, etc., I haven`t included them here since they were not remixed and can be found and downloaded from their original makers.
