This is an adaptator to fit a standard bike intended smartphone holder and a BMW R1200GS top bar (above speed and tachometer) Smartphone holder was designed to fit an handlebar around 31 mm (30.8mm on calliper) whereas the BMW R1200GS top bar is only 16.1 mm Thanks to that, the smartphone sits higher, just above speedo and your eyes don't have too travel as much to read it, while being still under your eyesight on the road !!!
