Lens Hood for Sony FE 50mm F1.2 GM lens (ALC-SH163 replacement)
Description
I designed this as a replacement lens hood for my Sony FE 50mm F1.2 GM lens (SEL50F12GM). This replaces the original “Hood (model): ALC-SH163”. It has a bayonet type mount, so slots over the lens, then twists and clicks into place. It can fit over the lens backwards to save space. I recommend printing with a matte black filament and/or covering the inside with a non-reflective coating to cut down on any reflections. This can and should be printed without supports. Printed using a 0.4mm nozzle with 0.2mm layer height. Lens hood size: Diameter: 104mm Height: 50mm Weight: 33g (Creality Hyper Series PLA) Please note that the tolerances are quite precise for a good fit and so it clicks into place. If your printer is not well calibrated a bit of sanding/clean-up may be required. Both the STL and STEP files have been included so you can import and customize it in other CAD software if you want to.
