Imac Back Pack Adapter Twelve South
Description
I had an Intel iMac with a Twelve South BackPack. As the Intel iMac stands are tapered and the iMac M1 and M3 are parallel the back pack bracket are not compatible. I redesigned the twelve south bracket clips inserts to fit the new stand and designed a stand insert and locking plate bracket to support the Twelve South plate. The stand insert has a gap so you do not need to disconnect the power cable. Hold the insert against the stand from the inside and slide the locking clip bracket into the insert. The legs will spread before slipping into place when pushed fully home. Mount the Twelve South Plate as normal and slide down to until it meets the locking clip bracket and secure. Printing: For the left and right hand clip inserts, print with the bottom tab down and use your slicer to ensure the bottom of the clips are in contact with the build plate. The stand insert and locking clip bracket should print as presented. I printed without supports.
