Anycubic Kobra Plu Filament Guide for Top Mount Spool

Anycubic Kobra Plu Filament Guide for Top Mount Spool

Description

This is a quick filament guide that mounts directly to the printer's z-axis wheel guides on the left side near the filament runout sensor. It slips over the frame piece in a very snug fit. The idea is to be able to use route the filament with a minimum amount of friction into the filament runout sensor and on into the rest of the feeder mechanism. I tried to reduce the weight as much as possible, but decided that putting holes in the arm itself used almost the same amount of filament with or without (without the holes prints faster). A 1.25-inch sliding door roller with a 1/4-inch center hole is needed to complete the design. In my case, I sourced a Prime-Line D-1798 1-1/4 In. Nylon Ball Bearing Sliding Door Roller kit. The kit comes with an axle pin that fits snuggly enough so that flaring the pin is not needed for it to stay in place. If you print it and use it, let me know so I know it helped someone out there.
