Robot Piggy Bank

Robot Piggy Bank

Description

This is my entry for the piggy bank contest over on printables.com (https://www.printables.com/model/658296-robot-piggy-bank). My idea was a small robot carrying coins as if moving a wheelbarrow (as in those old cartoons where a robber would carry some bags with a dollar sign in one). The coins are put through the robots mouth, and to get them out you just have to unscrew the head. Its legs are able to move, just like the wheel. I hope you find it both useful and amusing. For the legs to work, I printed them with 0.1 mm height and 0.3 mm width on a 0.4 mm nozzle. I have started having some problems with my printer, so no chance to test the rest. I promise to edit the post with proper images as soon as I have the printer available again. Still, I can tell you that I designed the leg pieces to be printed straight up, and the head and body upside down. The most problematic part would be the body, as it is hollow and therefore needs the correct bridging settings (unless you are willing to take out internal supports).
