Desiccant Drying Basket for Filament Dryer
Description
This basket is designed to fit in a filament dehydrator and hold desiccant packets, allowing them to dry out and preventing them from sitting directly on the heating element. I have several desiccant packets repurposed from other shipping packages, but found that they often are damp enough to actually increase the humidity of the dry box where I store my filament. I wanted to see if I could dry them out with my filament dehydrator, but it didn't seem like a good idea to let them sit directly on the heating element, so I designed this basket. Using it, I have salvaged several desiccant packets.
