16-21 Civic Subwoofer 35mm Adapter/Spacer
Description
This is a subwoofer adapter and spacer for 2016-2021 Honda Civic hatchbacks with the factory 8" sub. I wanted a full-sized subwoofer in my car to replace the crappy factory equipment. The recessed holes are made to be used with the factory screws holding the stock sub in. I used some leftover sound deadening material (kilmat) cut into circles as gaskets to sandwich the adapter between the new subwoofer and factory enclosure. I didn't add any holes to the subwoofer side as different speakers have different mounting patterns. I printed this at 0.2mm layer height and 50% infill. I screwed the subwoofer directly into the print. I made this 6 months ago from PLA+ and have not had any issues with melting or warping. The specific subwoofer this was made for was Alpine's S2-W8D2. The inner diameter of the adapter is 178mm, so check to make sure the subwoofer you have will fit inside. Outer diameter is 213mm so make sure your print bed can accommodate.
